Other Facilities (oont'd): feeding the southerly portion of the distribution systaac It is not practical to extend this new main from the existing reservoir, and to accomplish the purpose it is proposed to oonstruot a new settling basin and reservoir, diverting water from several of the wells thereto, oonstrueting booster pumps at the reservoir, and oonstrueting 10,480 ft. of 84” water main from the reservoir to a connection with the present distribution system at its southerly extremity. The additional facilities are neoessary solely beeause of the abnormal conditions due to the war and would not be required in normal times.
