RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing lease agreement, C. L. D. No. 3859, dated October 24, 1941, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and Western Fruit Growers, Inc., Lessee, covering the northerly 100’ of the southerly 300r of Vegetable Shed No. 3, Los Angeles, California, for term beginning October 15, 1941, and extending to April 15, 1942; rental $50.00 per month, payable monthly in advance; for the storage and handling of onions; subject to termination by either party upon thirty days' written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of President and Assistant Secretary Rigdon in executing lease agreement, Audit No. 10146, dated October 18, 1941, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and A1 Levy's Catering Company, Lessee, covering portion of Union Pacific Building at 424-426 West Sixth Street, Los Angeles, California, for restaurant or cafe and cocktail lounge, for term commencing on date Lessor delivers possession of premises to Lessee for installation of Lessee's equipment and trade fixtures, and continuing for fifteen years from the last day of the month during which rental becomes payable by Lessee; rental to commence thirty days subsequent to completion of general contract covering alteration and remodeling of said premises, or date Lessee commences transaction of business, whichever occurs first; rental 6% of total gross sales, but not less than $1,458,34 per month, said $1,458.34 being payable monthly in advance; subject to termination by -5-
