    1 The performance of said work, the completion thereof and payment 2 therefor shall be at the times and in the manner provided in this 3 Section 5« 4 All pipe lines to be constructed (except those within 5 the boundaries of the pumping station site described in sub- 6 paragraph (1) of Section 1) shall be at least four feet (4») be- 7 low the surface of the ground. Immediately after the work described 8 in subparagraphs (a) to (g) of this Section 5 has been completed 9 and the facilities therein described placed in operation, the 10 pip© lines and wirelines described in subparagraphs (h) to (1) 11 of this Section 5 shall be removed from the lands of the First 12 Parties and the surface of said lands restored to substantially 13 the same condition existing prior to the removal thereof, 14 Not later than thirty (30) days after the sale date 15 the District shall submit to the First Parties plans and specifi- 16 cations for the above-mentioned work which shall provide for the 17 construction of pipe lines with inside diameters which may be less 18 than but shall not exceed those above set forth. The First Parties 19 shall approve or disapprove said plans and specifications, pro- 20 vided that approval thereof shall not be unreasonably withheld or 21 delayed, Within one hundred eighty (180) days after the sale date 22 or within one hundred eighty (180) days after the First Parties 23 shall have approved the plans and specifications, whichever date 24 may be later, the District shall award a contract or contracts for 25 the performance of said work in accordance with the plans and spec- 26 ificatlons approved by the First Parties, 27 28 2 6 .
