On notion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Asst, Secretary Bachman in executing lease agreement C.A. No, 10343, dated Oct. 6, 1945, betweon LVL&YiTCc., Lessor, and T.. R, Sorensen Terminal Co., a copartnership consisting of T. R. Soren­sen, Mabel A. Sorensen and T. R. Sorensen, Jr., covering the east­erly 7500 sq. ft. of frame platform with shed roof and concrete pavement adjacent thereto, located between 4th and 5th Streets on Anderson Street, Los Angeles, Calif., to be used as warehouse for the handling of consolidated car shipments and offices in connection therewith; rental $164.58 per month, plus 1/12 of 9% upon cost of certain improvements, payable monthly in advance; term commencing on the date said improvements are completed or the building upon the leased premises is occupied by Lessee, whichever date occurs first, and extending for three years there­after; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and con­firmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Asst. Secretary Bachman in executing Contract Audit No. 10348, dated October 8, 1945, with McNeil Construction Company, covering the enclosing of this Company's 450-ft. frame covered platform, on East 5th St., between Mission Road and Anderson St,, Los Angeles, Calif.; guaranteed maximum cost $10,545, plus special service fee of $1,055; bo, and the same is hereby> ratified, V -9-
