Carver, Carver-Duhme, and Carver-Book Families (Smoky Valley). The Toiyabe Mountains is in the background. Not long after this photograph was taken, the Carvers constructed what was called Carver’s Rainbow Ranch, which later became known as Carver’s Station, in the foreground.
