HAWKINS, Assistant City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada You and each of you will please take notice that pursuant to a call this day issued by Mayor Baker, a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, will be held in the Mayor’s Office of the City Hall, 5th and Stewart, on the 17th day of August, 1953, at the hour of 4:30 P.M. to consider the following matters: 1. Readvertising for bids for the Fire Truck 2. Baker Wendell Bunker Rex A. Jarrett Harris P. Sharp Reed Whipple A. H. Kennedy George Rounthwaite George Wade Shirley Ballinger Absent: City Attorney Howard W. Cannon Assistant City Manager George Rounthwaite and City Engineer George Wade explained the proposed reorganization in the Engineering Department. Discussion was held on the matter. City Manager A. H. Kennedy explained that new specifications for a fire truck for the City had been prepared. Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved the City Manager be authorized to readvertise for bids for a fire truck for the City. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned.
