    The above and foregoing Ordinance was thereafter read aloud to the said Board of City Commissioners for a second time at a regular meeting of the said Board held on the 7th day of August, 1947, and passed by the following vote: Voting aye: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Cragin Voting Nay: None Absent: None. Cragin By: Shirley Ballinger, Deputy Mayor (Seal) AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION STATE OF NEVADA ) ) SS: COUNTY OF CLARK ) Dick Lochrie, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is foreman of the Las Vegas Evening Review-Journal, a daily newspaper, of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of two weeks from July 24th, 1947 to July 31st, 1947 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: July 24-31st. Cahlan ____________ Notary Public in and for Clark County, Nevada (SEAL) My Commission Expries Jan. 12, 1951. ----0O0----- ORDINANCE NO. 336 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CURB LINES AND FIXING THE LOCATION OF CURBS OVER AND ALONG NORTH MAIN STREET FROM CARSON AVENUE TO A POINT DISTANT APPROXIMATELY 237 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF BONANZA ROAD, IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; ESTABLISHING THE OFFICIAL GRADES OF THE STREET AND CURBS IN NORTH MAIN STREET AND BONANZA ROAD, ACCORDING TO THE PLANS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS OF THE STATE OF NEVADA; AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO; AND RE­PEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: Section 1. A line drawn parallel to the easterly side of the public right of way of North Main Street, in the City of Las Vegas, and distant 12 feet westerly therefrom, is hereby established as the curb line for the easterly side of North Main Street, from Carson Avenue to a point distant 236.27 feet northerly from the center line of Bonanza Road, in said city. Section 2. A line drawn parallel with the easterly side of the public right of way of North Main Street, in the City of Las Vegas, and distant 76 feet westerly therefrom, is hereby established as the curb line for the westerly side of North Main Street, from Carson Avenue to State Highway Survey Station "0" 109-25.20, in said city, said station being 388.53 feet southerly from the center line of Bonanza Road. Section 3. A straight line drawn from the northerly terminus of the curb line, as established in the preceding section hereof, at State Highway Survey Station "0" 109-25.20, as said station is described in the preceding section hereof, to a point distant 84.37 feet westerly from the easterly side of the public right of way of North Main Street at State Highway Survey Station "0" 111-34.34, said station being 179.39 feet southerly from the center line of Bonanza Road, is hereby established as the curb line for the westerly side of North Main Street, in the City of Las Vegas, between said points. Section 4. A line drawn parallel to the westerly side of the public right of way of North Main Street, in the city of Las Vegas, and distant 10 feet easterly therefrom, is hereby established as the curb line for the westerly side of North Main Street from Bonanza Road to State Highway Survey Station "0" 115-49.80, said station being 236.07 feet northerly from the center line of Bonanza Road. Section 5. At all intersections of streets and driveways with the right of way of North Main Street, as said right of way is described in this ordinance, the curb lines and lines of curb returns established at said intersections by the Department of Highways of the State of Nevada to meet present and proposed curb lines, and shown on the plans thereof on file in the office of said department, entitled, respectively, "State of Nevada Department of Highways - Plan and Profule of Proposed State Highway - Federal Aid Project - Clark County, City of Las Vegas, Main Street (South 5th St. to 1650 Ft. N.E. of North City Limits), Fremont St. Spur (Main Street to 5th St.), Project No. 87," and "State of Nevada Department of Highways - Plan and Profile of Proposed State Highway - Federal Aid Project - Clark County, Fifth Street Las Vegas to Charleston Park Road, Project No. 39," and approved by the State Highway Engineer and the Board of Directors of said Department on the 10th day of May, 1947, are hereby adopted as the curb lines and lines of curb returns for said intersections. Section 6. The grades of the street and curbs along the rights of way of North Main Street and Bonanza Road, in the City of Las Vegas, established by the Department of Highways of the State of Nevada, and shown on the plans thereof on file in the office of said depart­ment, entitled, respectively, "State of Nevada Department of Highways - Plan and Profile
