Boos, Acting City Clerk, of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, hereby certify the foregoing to be a full, true and correct copy of the Resolution accepting the deed attached hereto duly adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioner held on the 4th day of February, 1959. QUITCLAIM DEED The Commission considered the adoption of Resolution of Acceptance of Quitclaim Deed L.S. Whaley, President to the City of Las Vegas from L. S. Whaley, President of Home Investment Company of Long of Home Investment Co. Beach, for a strip of land 40' in width from the center of Section 26 from Bruce to 25th of Long Beach, Calif. Street and extending 1,000 feet easterly from 25th Street along the centerline of Section 25, T20S, R61E. This area is designated for extension of Washington Street drainage. Resolution of Acceptance Adopted Commissioner Whipple moved that the following resolution be adopted and order made: RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE OF QUITCLAIM DEED On motion of Commissioner Reed Whipple, duly seconded by Commissioner Harris P. Sharp, and carried unanimously, the following Resolution is adopted, and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 4th day of February, 1959; by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the deed, dated the 19th day of January, 1959; executed by Home Investment Co. of Long Beach to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes of public purposes; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that the same be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and this resolution be filed in the records of this Board. This makes up a part of the 60' r/w from 5th Street to Bruce Street for the extension of Jansen Avenue. Resolution of Acceptance Adopted Commissioner Sharp moved that the following resolution be adopted and order made: RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE OF QUITCLAIM DEED On motion of Commissioner Harris P. Sharp, duly seconded by Commissioner Wendell Bunker, and carried unanimously, the following resolution is adopted, and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 4th day of February, 1959; by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the deed, dated the 7th day of January, 1959; executed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a Utah Corporation Sole to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes of street; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that the same be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and this resolution be filed in the records of this Board.
