Pioneer Title Ins. & Trust Go. -2- April 14, 1953 (b) Approximately 25 L.F. of 6* oast Iron fire hydrant connections. In addition, it will be neoesaary that you secure from the city, at your own expense, one fire hydrant for installation on 21et Street extended and Fremont Street. Our estimated cost to construct above mentioned pipe lines is #2,585* which is divided as follows: Construct 730* L.F. of 6* oast iron water main - |2,44o Construct 25' L.F. of 6n cast Iron fire hydrant Of the above amount, #2,440, pursuant to Nevada Public Service Commission Rule 9# will be subject to refund. The estimated cost of #145 to construct fir© hydrant connection will not be subject to refund. 2. Said water mains shall be constructed of 6* Class 150 3 & S cast iron pipe and shall be In accordance with Federal specifications W 421 Type 1. All joints shall be cement. All fittings shall be new, all bell cast iron equal to ASA Standard Class 250. All valves shall be double disk, parallel seat bronze mountings conforming to AWWA standards, not less than 175 lbs., and all valve boxes shall be of cast iron of appropriate size for each valve* Unless otherwise approved by a duly authorized representative of the Company, all pipe valves and fittings shall be manufactured by the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company or Mueller Company. All pipe lines shall be chlorinated in accordance with A W A specifications, shall be subject to the appro ml and acceptance of State and City Health Authorities, and shall be constructed at an elevation to be designated by & duly authorized representative of the Company, but in no event shall there be less than 3$8 of covering over such water mains. All workmanship, material and installation ouf said water maim shall be subject to the approval and acceptance by a duly authorized representative of the Company. G-elger, Piping Superintendent for Wells Cargo, Inc., who, I understand, will have charge of construction of the above pipe lines for Wells Cargo, Inc*, connection Total
