    * Los Angeles, September 33, 1937. 9315-355 Mr. Walter R. Bracken: Referring to your letter September 13th, subject, water supply - Las Vegas: That part of it relative to blowing out the present well to relieve sand and other pressure, has been given consideration. Assistant Chief Engineer Adamson concurs in recomr-mendation made by you and Dr. Boyle that we blow the well out in an effort to relieve sand pressure, with the hope that it will increase the flow. It is estimated it will cost approximately #1,000 to do this work. However, if successful, it would increase flow and therefore justify the expenditure. If you will let me know when you consider the time favorable for blowing the well out, I will take up and arrange for it promptly. F. H. Knickerbocker
