The Commission authorized the City Manager to notify this organization that permission would be granted this time, but could not recur due to the fact that this facility is provided for recreation for the children in this area. At this time City Manager Kennedy recommended that the bid of Wells-Stewart Construction Company for the paving of West Charleston Boulevard from Campbell Drive to the intersection of Rancho Road and suggested that authorization be granted to extend this contract to include the improvement of the proposed access street to the proposed new fire station in the park property which lies east of Hyde Park.
