I agree.Los Angeles, June 1, 1951 1-7331* MEMORANDUM FOE FILS: Referring to the attached statement, dated February 1951, showing - “Estimated Cost of Power to Operate Booster Pumps, Las Vegas, Mevada**- v>r4- ^ /<* Well #8 as contemplated and a 25 HP motor on pump Well #10. However, the 25 HP motor did not deliver the amount of water we proposed to obtain from this well^and the Worthington Pump and Machinery Corporation took back the 25 HP motor and gave us a 30 HP In lieu thereof without any additional expense, and this larger motor delivered the amount of water - GPM - OK. Cue to the faot that our permanent pump for well HO, which Is a 15 HP, will not be delivered by the Manufacturer until the latter part of August 195^* rented a second-hand pump and motor from the Water Well Equipment Company, motor being a 20 HP* endeavor to obtain a temporary pump and motor which would produce 1800 0PM, which is the amount the permanent pump will deliver, but were unable to find a pump to meet these conditions. The temporary pump produces 1605 GPM, whereas the permanent pump when installed will produce 1800 OPM* In May 1951 we Installed a 10 HP motor on pump We Interviewed different Pump Companies In an E.
