MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE REPORT
December 3, 2005
The Membership Committee met on November 30, 2005 at the office of Soror Billie Rayford at 6:00pm. Five sorors were in attendance; Soror Billie, Winnie, Edna, Renee and Maxine.
Plans were made for the January 7, 2006 Leadership/Officer Training Workshop. The workshop will be held at the Desert Pines Golf Club, 3415 East Bonanza Road, Las Vegas, NV from 8:00am until 4:00pm. Lunch will be served. The cost is $10.00 per soror, payable today. (The Executive board voted to absorb a portion of the cost to sponsor this activity with the hope that more sorors will attend.)
Events for the day will include our regular sorority meeting, SISTERLY RELATIONS ACTIVITIES, Duties and Responsibilities of Officers and Committee Chairs, Parliamentary Procedure, Chapter Evaluation, Business and Sorority Etiquette. Sorors will be contacted about these presentations.
During our CHAPTER EVALUATION session SORORS will have the opportunity to address their concerns about the chapter. Please come prepared to participate. If you are not able to attend please mail or email your concerns, problems, etc to me on or before January 5, 2006. Be specific, don’t just give a general topic. Example, don’t just say communication. Say what you think is wrong with the communication.
Sorors will be contacted about the time and place of the next Membership Meeting.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE REPORT OCTOBER 1,2005
The Membership has not met since our last meeting. However, I did send out some suggestions for things to do in Salt Lake City. We need to know the number of Sorors attending Cluster, and their travel plans. Arrival day and time, and departure day and time. Our next meeting will be Oct. 12, 2005, or Oct. 26, 2005. Sorors will be notified by email.
SUGGESTIONS:
VISIT TEMPLE SQUARE (down town)
(tours are available) have dinner several places in the Square Restaurants are opened until 10:00p.m.
GARDNER VILLAGE (outside of city)
(Mystery Dinner Theatre) quaint shops, ride with a witch.
Or just shop around and have dinner at Archibald's Restaurant
THERE'S ALWAYS SHOPPING, A MALL IS RIGHT DOWN TOWN
If anyone is staying until Sunday, we can attend the Live Broadcast of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, it's free. Opens at 8:30 in the morning must be seated by 9:15; broadcast is at 9:30. It is 30 minutes. Some of the places in Temple Square are opened on Sunday.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE REPORT
JULY 19, 2005
The Membership Committee met on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 the Northwest Region Center at 6:00pm. Members in attendance were Soror Billie Rayford, Soror Barbara Kirkland, Soror Winnie Pettis, Soror Wilhelmina Lee, and Soror Maxine Randolph
Main item of discussion was the SUMMER BASH, (party) as recommended by the Executive Board. Members were asked to check several places for prices and availability for August 19, or August 20, 2005. The places were: Santa Fe Station, Las Vegas Golf Club, Nevada Partners, Sky View, and the Orleans Hotel.
Members would also check with several D.J.(s) for availability and price.
The other item of discussion was MIP. It will be presented to the sorority at the September meeting for reconsideration for this year. However, it was also noted time is an important factor. If the sorority votes to have MIP it would not take place until 2006. Possibly the weekend of January 20, 2006, or late February7, depending on the date of Founders’ Day Activity.
