Sincerely, Chic Hecht 4 August 20, 1985 Ms. Beverly Davis President B'nai B'rith Women 1640 Rhode Island Avenue Washington, D.C. 20036 Dear Ms. Davis: Thank you for your letter of August 8, inviting me to bring greetings to the 1986 International Biennial Convention of B'nai B'rith Women at the Opening Banquet on Sunday, March 23, 1986 in Las Vegas. As much as I would like to be with your members on this occasion, due to my Senate duties, it is too far in advance to schedule at this time. When I have a better idea of ray calendar for next year, I will be back in touch with you. I thank you again for your kind invitation, and send along my best regards. Sincerely, Chic Hecht August 8, 1985 The Honorable Chic Hecht United States Senate Washington, DC 20510 Dear Senator Hecht: On behalf of B'nai B'rith Women, it is my pleasure to invite you to bring greetings to the 1986 International Biennial Convention of B'nai B'rith Women to be held March 23 - 26, 1986 at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. We would like you to present greetings at the Opening Banquet scheduled for Sunday March 23 from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom. We have scheduled a time frame of five minutes for your remarks. Our national office will be happy to work with your office to plan this event. Please feel free to have your office contact M.A. O'Donnell, Director of Conventions and Meetings, at (202) 857-6665 to answer any questions you may have and to present you with an overview of the convention and the organization. Because we must proceed with our planning, we would appreciate hearing from you as soon as possible but no later than September 30 if you will be able to attend and present greetings. We would be most honored to have you and look forward to receiving your positive response.
