June X* 1950 W 2 3-1 Institute Naoionel De Caracas, Obrae Sanlt rias Venezuela, Attention oft Kr, Pedro Pablo Azpurua Jefe del Dpto de Operatolon Gentlemens We acknowledge receipt of your Air Wall letter of May 11th, regarding your method of centralized control of water meters, We hare carefully examined the sample form* attached to your let ar and it appears to be a very good system and one that should furnish the required information, / However, as indicated in our letter of March loth* we are prohibited by law from ueing water meters for retail sales in Hevada, and therefore have bat little experience with meters, Kay we respectfully suggest that further inquiries on this subject be addressed to the Department cf Water and Power of the City of Los Angeles* California at 207 South Broadway, as they not only make extensive use of water meters but also have water districts.
