CLAIM FOR DAMAGE Commissioner Fountain moved the claim of Charles M. Libby in the amount of $40.20 C.M. Libby for damage to his automobile when the wind blew over a tree be denied. SOLICITATIONS FOR City Manager Kennedy requested that the resolution concerning notification to local YOUTH merchants that all solicitations for youth activities should be cleared through the Youth Advisory Board be held until the next regularmeeting. Mr. Kennedy stated that a meeting was being arranged between the Youth Advisory Council and the Solicitations Review Board to discuss this matter. PROPOSED ORDINANCE An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 33, CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, Taxicabs 1949, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 486 BY PROVIDING INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR TAXICABS; ADDING NEW SECTIONS; REQUIRING A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATIONS HEREOF, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Fountain and Whipple for recommendation. 5-7-58
