We have made Inquiry from several sources here, but without confirmation. There is a rumor that the Oil Company is negotiating for purchase of acreage, bounded on the West by south Meadows Addition, and on the Mast by the intersection of South Main and South Fifth Streets, The owner, Hebert Tucker, discussed with us some time ago the possibility of securing water service at this location, but he is now in Louisans and cannot be reached.
