    Captain Larsen of the Fire Department was present and stated that there is a problem on the recommendation of the City Manager as it pertains to the Fire Department. He indicated they definitely did not go along with this recommendation. He advised that there were various meetings with the City Manager and the compromise has been explained to the Commission this evening. He further stated that they felt they have given their position, and are still below the Police Department and do not see how they can be expected to back down and accept the City Manager's recommendation. At the hour of 9:35 P.M. Commissioner Sharp moved this meeting adjourn. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. Cannon GAMING & LIQUOR At this time the Commission considered the application of James P. Long for 60% LICENSES interest in the gaming and liquor licenses of the California Club, 101 Fremont.
