I agree.May 31, 1984 ill Bill WJutmore, S Athletic Department Rice University Houston, TX 77251. Dear Mr. Arden, _It is appropriate I write this to Las Vegas since this is a real long, long shot of a circumstance! On Beveral occasions I have read your name in "the columns" or in this specific instance heard a radio commercial about your big show being produced there.... And I recall from my long LONG ago past there was a young lad I once knew in my native St. Louis name of Arden Peterson.,..some years later I heard from someone (cannot recall who) that Arden Peterson changed his name to "Don Arden" and became a very successful dancer^actor and on further into the world of show biz. So, just out of sheer curiosity, I write this note to see if it gets to you...and in turn to see if by any chance you and that Arden Peterson of "ancient history" are one and the same! I think it was a case of my living with my mother (who was divorced) when I was about 6 or 8 or so at a big rooming house near the Eugene Field School about 1927 to 1930 or so period....Also recall a lad also abit older than me name of Rex Clark waa a child violinist living there land several years later he played with the touring St, Louis Symphony when I was a student at U. Texas-Austin and I saw him there.) This all is nothing if you are not the right guy, but if so drop me a line and maybe I can write again...FYI, I am retiring July 1 after 34 years as the sports* info, director here at Rice U. in Houston. Never been to Vegas. Possibly could get there now if I have time to travel (but where's the money?" if not the beef!) Cordially,
