    ASSESSMENT DISTRICT At this time the request of the City Treasurer concerning the disposition of a cash NO. 100-6 payment on Assessment District No. 100-6 in the amount of $1,269.60 received from Cash Payment Alvena E. and C. B. Henderson was read to the Board. Thereafter Commissioner Peccole moved the $1,269.60 payment on Assessment District No. 100-6 be accepted, and the interest be paid out of the General Fund of the City, Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. 49ER CLUB Commissioner Whipple moved the request of the 49er Club to replace a Faro Bank Table with a Roulette Table during the 4th Quarter of 1951 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commis- sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. ASSESSMENT DISTRICT Commissioner Bunker moved that pursuant to the recommendation of the City Engineer, NO. 100-3 the bond filed by Wells Cargo Inc. for installation of improvements in Assessment Release of Bond District No. 100-3 be released. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. ZONE VARIANCE The recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission dated December 14, 1951 con- Louis Perozzi cerning the variance application of Louis Perozzi to permit the moving of an un- finished duplex building to a lot in an R-E district located on Elm Drive between Bonanza Road and Washington Avenue, was presented to the Board for their consider­ation. Commissioner Whipple moved the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission be approved and the following resolution adopted: R E S OLUTION WHEREAS, on November 1, 1951, Louis Perozzi filed an application with the Regional Plan­ning Commission for permission to move an unfinished building to an adjoining acre in an R-E (Res­idence Estate) Use District located on Elm Drive between Bonanza Road and Washington Avenue, with the intention of completing the said building at that place; and WHEREAS, on December 6, 1951, the Regional Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application for variance, at which time one objection was raised from the floor of said public meeting protesting the granting of said variance; and WHEREAS, on December 6, 1951, the Regional Planning Commission approved such application for variance on the ground that such variance would not result in material damage to other property in the vicinity or be detrimental to the public welfare; and WHEREAS, such decision of the Regional Planning Commission was filed with the Board of City Commissioners on December 14, 1951, recommending that such variance be granted, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission that Louis Perozzi be granted permission to move an unfinished building to an adjoining acre in an R-E (Residence Estate) Use District located on Elm Drive between Bonanza Road and Washington Avenue, be and the same hereby is approved, provided, however, that said building be completed at the new location in accordance with the time limit provided by ordinance. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. RIDGEVIEW SUBDIVISION Commissioner Bunker moved that pursuant to the recommendation of the Regional Plan- Final Map-Tract No. 5 ning Commission dated December 14, 1951, the final map on Ridgeview Subdivision Tract No. 5 be approved subject to the filing of the required bond and signing of the agreement by the Subdivider, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign said map. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. PUBLIC HEARING - Commissioner Peccole moved the public hearing on the proposed rezoning of the NE¼ Rezoning of Morningside of the SE¼, Section 2, T21s, R61 E, MDB&M from R-E to R-1 be set for February 6, Park Tract 1952, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. PROPOSED ORDINANCE Commissioners Jarrett and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed or- Minor Ordinance dinance amending the Minor Ordinance asked for additional time before reporting* Amendment ORDINANCE NO. 475 An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 460 ENTITLED: "AN Subdivision Inspection EMERGENCY ORDINANCE REQUIRING SUBDIVIDERS TO PAY TO THE CITY OF US VEGAS, FEES Fee FOR THE INSPECTION BY THE CITY ENGINEER OF SUBDIVISION CONSTRUCTION, AND PROVID- ING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF AND REQUIRING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE INSPECTIONS", having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Bunker and Jarrett was read to the Board. Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 475 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
