of this Board; that the notice provided for in said order, a copy of which notice is attached to said affidavit; was posted on the 11th day of June, 1959, in the manner prescribed by said order; And this being the time fixed for the hearing on said petition for vacation and the recommendation of the City Planning Commission thereon, and this Board having heard evidence in support of and there being no opposition to said petition and recommendation; And it appearing to the satisfaction of this Board that the street proposed to be vacated is no longer required for the public use and convenience, and that said vacation will enure to the benefit of the City of Las Vegas, and that neither the public nor any person will be materially injured thereby. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the following described street in the City of Las Vegas, on file in Book 2 of Plats, Page 89, in the Office of the County Recorder, Clark County, Nevada, to-wit: A certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situate in the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and being a portion of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE¼) of the Southeast One-Quarter (SE¼) of Section 34, Township 20 South, Range 61 East, M.D.B. & M., and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the Southeast comer of Lot 6, Block 1, Maryland Tract #1, a re-subdivision of Blocks 26 and 27, Pioneer Heights, as shown by map thereof in Book 2 of Plats, Page 89, as Document #309012 in the Office of the County Recorder, Clark County, Nevada, thence South 0° 11' 05" West along the southerly prolongation of the East line of said Lot 6 a distance of 40 feet to a point on the North right-of-way line of East Charleston Boulevard, thence North 89° 39' 50" East along the easterly prolongation of said North right-of-way line a distance of 10 feet, thence North 0° 11' 03" East parallel with and distant 10 feet (measured at right angle) East of the East line of said Lot 6 and its southerly prolongation a distance of 167.49 feet to a point on the Easterly prolongation of the South right-of-way line of Bonneville Avenue, thence North 62° 02' West along said South right-of-way line a distance of 13.02 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 7 in said Block 1, thence South 0° 11' 05" West along the East line thereof and its Southerly prolongation a distance of 132.85 feet to the Point of Beginning be and the same is hereby vacated. SERVICE AND MATERIAL Commissioner Whipple moved Service and Material Warrant Nos. 1910 - 2031 in the WARRANTS amount of $93,156.37, and Nos. 9432 - 9433 (Urban Renewal) in the amount of $3,204.06; total of $96,360.43, be approved.
