Smith You have copy of Mr. Smith’s letter of September 9th relative to "Proof of Commencement of Work” for well constructed at Las Vegas, Nevada under Permit No. 15754, and you will note that this document is due in Carson City on September 16, 1955. I am, therefore, enclosing original and two copies ,herewith, together with a $1.00 bill which Mr. Smith furnished for reasons unknown to me. I would suggest you arrange to send the documents and the $1.00 bill or check to Carson City by Air Mall so it will arrive by September 16th. E. E. Bennett
