MoMiohael to 0‘Dovd distributing Company; In line with your letter, I advised Messrs McMloh&el and 0'Dowd that the proposed sub-lease was not agreeable. 0*Dowd then offered to relinquish hie 20-year lease on Sonansa Road in exchange for permission to sublease from MoMiohael on South Main Street, but in line with our conversation today X advised him to the Railroad Company. this was not agreeable In line with our previous request to Mr. XcMiohael that he select a tenant agreeable to the Railroad Company, I now attach his application to sub-least the premises at 500 South Main Street to Alfred Mg Lewie. Lewie is & wholesale grocer with headquarters at Riverside. California, and has been trucking his groceries Into Lae vegas. However, the volume of hie buelnees has now grown to such an extent that his shipments of flour, canned goods and other heavy shipmoenn tssp umru sttr acbkea ghea.ndled by rail and he desires warehouse space MoMiohael lease expires May 1, 1951.
