S.B. 30 V ; > S.B. 4$ S.B. 63 S.B. 126 Amends general water law (Act of February 20, 1909, as amended) (Section 7&90 et seq. N.C.L.), primarily with respect to district court decrees concerning water rights attaching to streams; empowers state engineer to enforce installation of head gates, measuring devices, or flumes on streams; and authorizes him to appoint an advisory board for each water district. Effective date........March 27, 1947. ENGINEERS. Becomes Chapter 254 (page 797) Advance Sheets, 1947 Statutes. Amends Act of March 29, 1919, as amended (2$70 N.C.L.) relating to registration of professional engineers, by extending application to land surveyors and land surveying, and modifying method of giving examinations for registration. Section 13 (5) (c) exempts from registration and licensing: nProfessional engineers as herein defined who work solely for one employer and who do not offer their professional services to any other individual, firm,'or person;” Effective date ..... Enabling creation of a water district in the Las Vegas Valley, Clark County, Nevada, to be initiated by petition signed by at least five percent of real property owners in the proposed district.
