SUBDIVIDE!* AORESSs 1* At its own expense to furnish all necessary labor and materials to construct} (a) Approximately 3912 LF of 8 s oast iron water mains* (b) Approximately 5bl0 LF of 6* oast iron water mains* (0) Approximately 156 LF of 6* oast iron fire hydrant connections. The cost of constructing said water mains (exclusive of cost of oonstrueting fire hydrant connections) is the agreed sum of # 33#»78.O0. 2. Bald water mains shall be constructed of 6* and 8 150 * Class S & 8 o&st iron pipe and shall be in accordance with Federal specifications VWP 421 Type 1. All Joints shall be oeraent. All fittings shall be new, all bell oast iron equal to ASA Standard Class 250. All valves shall be double disk, parallel seat bronze mountings conforming to AVfWA standards, not less than 175 lbs., and all valve boxes shall be of oast Iron of appropriate sis® for each valve. Unless otherwise approved by a duly authorized representative of the Company, all pipe valves and fittings shall be manufactured by the Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Company or Mueller Company. All pipe lines shall be chlorinated in accordance with AVHA specifications, shall be subject to the approval and acceptance of State and City Health Authorities, and shall be constructed at an elevation to bt designated by a duly authorized representative of the Company, but in no event shall there be lees than 36* of covering over such water mains. All workmanship, material and installation of said water mains shall be subject to the approval and acceptance by a duly authorized representative of the Company. 3 . To stake water lines.
