(b) Formal Notice mailed to more than 200 ma|or bond underwriting firms inviting sealed proposals for the purchase of $8,700,000 waterworks bonds, 1954, of the Las Vegas Valley Water District (Pages 4 to 19 Inclusive), The Notice sent to bond houses - Item (b) above - calls for the submission of sealed bids or proposals on or before 10:00 o'clock A.M,, Wednesday, April 28, 1954, In Las Vegas. Award of the bonds will be made by the Board of Directors to such bidder or bidders as may submit the proposal or proposals deemed most advantageous to the District. The Board of Directors reserves the right, of course, to reject any or all bids or proposals or to the extent permitted by law to waive any Irregularity or Informality In any bid or proposal.
