(b) Formal Notice mailed to more than 200 ma|or bond underwriting firms inviting sealed proposals for the purchase of $8,700,000 waterworks bonds, 1954, of the Las Vegas Valley Water District (Pages 4 to 19 Inclusive), The Notice sent to bond houses - Item (b) above - calls for the submission of sealed bids or proposals on or before 10:00 o'clock A.M,, Wednesday, April 28, 1954, In Las Vegas. Award of the bonds will be made by the Board of Directors to such bidder or bidders as may submit the proposal or proposals deemed most advantageous to the District.
