BEFORE THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF NEVADA IN THE MATTER OF INCREASED RATES FILED : BT IAS VEGAS LAND AND WATER COMPANY : I. & S. Docket 52 SUPPLEMENTAL ORDER PRESENT: Chairman J. F» Shaughnessy Commissioner H. R* Martin Secretary Lee S. Scott At a general session cf the Public Service Commission of Nevada, held at its offices in Carson City, Nevada, on September 21, 1931. IT APPEARING, that there has been filed with the Public Service Commission of Nevada, a petition fear reconsideration of its Opinion, Order and Decision made and decided August 28, 1931 in the above entitled matter, and particularly the following: (a) That part of the Order reducing the reserve for replacement otherwise termed depreciation, from 4%, the amount claimed by your petitioner, to 2£; (b) That part of the Order allowing your petitioner a valuation of only $6,000*00 for the water appropriated, owned and consumed and for water at all times available for diversion ana application to domestic and industrial uses at Las Vegas, Nevada, by your petitioner; (c) That part of the Order disallowing Rule 10 of your petitioner’s Rules and Regulations, for the reasons stated in said Order; (d) That part of the Order reducing certain of the rates as filed by petitioner; IT FURTHER APPEARING, that the Commission is fully advised in the matter, IT IS ORDERED, that Sections (a), (b), and (d) as set forth above are hereby denied, and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that Rule 10 as stated in section (e) above of Rules and Regulations shall be amended to read as follows; and shall remain In effect: "The Company may charge Five (#5.00) Dollars for each tapping of water mains, to be paid by the owner or consumer ordering the same.” By the Commission, LEE S.
