R-AUG IB *1954 Reference is made to agreement under date of June 1, 1953, between Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company, Union Pacific Railroad Company, Las Vegas Land and Water Company and Las Vegas Valley Water District, C« L* D. No, 11342, covering sale of the water system at Las Vegas, Nevada. Section five of the agreement provides that the District shall, within thirty days of the sale date, submit plans and specifications for the relocation of certain facilities on property retained by the railroad. Because of the short time between the sale of the bonds and the sale date of the water facilities, the District has been unable to complete the required plans and specifications* It is requested, therefore, that an extension of time of sixty days be granted for their submission. / WCR:mjb AUG L.
