\ WHEREAS, Lessor (LVL&WCo.) and T. R. Sorensen Terminal Co., a partnership hereinafter referred to as Sorensen, heretofore entered into agreement dated October 6, 191+5, identified as Lessors Contract Audit No. 1031+3* whereby Lessor leased to Sorensen certain property at Los Angeles, California, for a term of 3 years, which agreement was assigned by Sorensen to Sorensen Transport Terminal Company, an Illinois Corporation, October 29, 191+7, said assign­ment being identified as Lessors Contract Audit No. 1031+3-1, sub­sequently Lessor and T. R„ Sorensen Terminal Co. extended said agreement to and including November 30, 1953» said extension being identified as Lessors Contract Audit No. 1031+3-2; thereafter Transport Cartage and Distributing Co., an Illinois Corporation, successor to Sorensen Transport Terminal Co., assigned its interest under said lease to Universal Garloading & Distributing Co. Inc., a Delaware Corporation, said assignment being identified as Lessors Contract Audit No. 1031+3-3, and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the aforementioned agreement to exclude a portion of the real property from said lease and to provide for a proportionate reduction in rental. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the action of Vice Pres­ident Reinhardt In executing amendatory agreement C.L.D. No. 6732-1+ dated September 29, 1953s, by and between LVL&WCo., called Lessor, and Universal Carloading & Distributing Co. Inc., called Lessee, reducing the leased area and reducing rental proportion­ately; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was S B
