I agree.Lae Vegas - January 24, 1942 V 1-1-2 Hr, W. H. Hulsizer, Valuation Officer, Omaha, Nebraska, Dear Sir\ Referring to our telephone conTereation a few days ago, with regard to affidavit covering Jtareh 1, 1913 valuation of the 78,64 acres on north Main Street sold to Gahlan and associates. Also your request to secure accurate information on comparable sales about that time. I have discussed with Messrs. Adams and HoHamee. Our records do not indicate that there were any acreage sales of ranch land made prior to 1919, when 40 acres bordering on Clark Avenue were sold to John L. Russell by LA&8L at #100 per acre. Considering this and subsequent sales, after growth of town was assured, It appears that a valuation of $60 an acre in 1913 would be about right for both the Russell acreage and the land recently cold to Cahlan and associates, both of whloh were raw land without water rights. If you concur, I will arrange for an affidavit to be made by a non-employe and will submit as we do valuations of lots sold containing Company cottages. lours very truly, * *aljer a; mem Vloe President
