^ EQUIPMENT; The Contractor shall provide all equipment required for the execution and completion of the work, including all staging, scaffolding, apparatus, tools, etc,, which are necessary for the proper execution of this job. All equipment must meet the approval of the Company, and the Engineer may require the removal of any portion of the equipment which is defective or unsuitable for the proper prosecution of the work, and Contractor shall be required to substitute therefor satisfactory equipment without delay. RESPONSIBILITY OF CONTRACTOR: The Contractor shall so perform and handle the work as to fill all requirements of state and federal laws, and local rules controlling same, and his foreman must be carefully instructed in regard to same. EXTRAS: All extras must be ordered by the Engineer in writing on form ’’Order on Contractor”, and the price for said extras agreed upon beforehand. In default of such agreement the Engineer shall fix the valuation of said extras and his decision binding. shall be final and No claims for extras will be allowed unless accompanied by the written order for said extras. CONTRACTOR TO UNLOAD MATERIAL: The Contractor will unload, store and protect at his expense and be responsible for all tools, equipment and material furnished by him for the job, CLEANING UP: At the completion of the work embraced under the contract, the entire work must be left clean and whole, and^ all rubbish of every description removed from the premises regardless of or by whom made, there being no division of responsibility in regard to this. The work when completed will be accepted in final finish, perfect and undamaged state only. The Contractor shall protect his work during its progress, and if damaged will do all repair work necessary for its full and satisfactory completion. ACCOUNTING REQUIREMENTS: At completion of the work the Contractor will furnish the Company a complete list of all quantities of material used - 2 -
