* covering the construction and laying of 6,570 feet of cast iron water mains in certain locations in H. P. M. & M. Ad­dition, West. Side, Las Vegas, Nevada; Water Company to furnish without cost to said W. J. Rhoads all necessary pipe, valves, fittings and material for said installation, FOB cars Las Vegas, Nevada; consideration $4,672.50; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: WHEREAS, under date of December 26, 1941, this Board ratified, approved and confirmed the action of Vice President Ashby and Assistant Secretary Rigdon in executing contract, wNmLD 793, dated December 1, 1941, between United States of America, called ’'Government", and Las Vegas Land and Water Company, called ’’Utility", covering the supplying of the water requirements of a housing development to be located in the Grandview Addition, Las Vegas, Nevada, and which provided among other things, that said Utility at its own expense furnish, install and maintain water mains to the metering point or points of the Development, and further, that said meter shall be located at the intersection of Mesquite Street with the alley of Block 4 of the Grandview Addition; and WHEREAS, at the request of Government, said con­tract has been amended to provide said meter shall be located on the development at a point approximately six (6) feet north and one hundred sixty-nine (169) feet east of the southwest -5-
