MORNING VIEW HEIGHTS Director of Public Works Sauer presented the request of C. M. Hoagland, L. W. Cochran TRACT #2 and C. J. Jones, subdividers for Morning View Heights, Tract #2, for additional time to complete the offsite improvements. The Engineering Department recommended that an Request for extension eight month extension be granted subject to approval of extension of bond by the bonding of time company. This would make the date of completion July 17, 1959. Approved Commissioner Whipple moved that the request for an eight month extension for completion of the offsite improvements in Morning View Heights, Tract #2, be approved subject to approval of extension of bond by the bonding company. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. EASEMENT The Commission considered an easement to the City of Las Vegas from Arthur E. Cook for Arthur E. Cook a 10' sewer line easement from "I" Street in the B. M. Jones subdivision northerly to Monroe Avenue. This sewer has been in location for the past two years. Resolution of Acceptance Commissioner Sharp moved that the following Resolution of Acceptance be adopted and Adopted order made: RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE OF EASEMENT On motion of Commissioner Reed Whipple, duly seconded by Commissioner E. W. Fountain, and carried unanimously, the following Resolution is adopted, and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 15th day of April, 1959, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the easement, dated the 3rd day of April, 1959, executed by Arthur E. Cook to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes of Public utility; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said easement, and that the same be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and this resolution be filed in the records of this Board. STATE OF NEVADA ) ) ss. COUNTY OF CLARK ) I, R. F. Fountain for Placer Claims known as Municipal #1 Bunker, Harris P. Sharp, and Municipal #2 Placer Mining Claims lying in Sections 2 and 3, T21S, R62E. and E. W. Fountain Commissioner Whipple moved that the following Resolutions of Acceptance be adopted and Resolutions of Acceptance order made: Adopted RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE OF QUITCLAIM DEED On motion of Commissioner Reed Whipple, duly seconded by Commissioner Harris P. Sharp, and carried unanimously, the following Resolution is adopted, and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 15th day of April, 1959, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the deed, dated the 7th day of April, 1959, executed by Reed Whipple, Wendell Bunker, Harris P. Sharp and E. W. Fountain to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes of Municipal uses; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that the same be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and this resolution be filed in the records of this Board.
