Cory) Authority has been requested to extend water mains, under Rule 9-A, to Crestwood Homes Tract loca-ted at the east city 1imits on Charleston Boulevard. The Subdividers are, of course, anxious to commence construction at the earliest possible date and have today started bulldozers and other equipment clearing the land and scraping the streets. The Pipe Company are still quoting 12 months delivery on cast iron pipe, but the subdividers were able to secure sufficient 6-inch and 8-inch pipe to extend the line to their tract and install mains to serve Blooks 1, 2 and the north half of Block 3. Description and price of pipe follows: 2550' - 8" C. I. Pipe @ 2.90 Ft. $7395.00 2630' - 6" C. I. Pipe @ 1.80 Ft. 4770.00 In addition to the pipe above described, the subdividers have also agreed to advance $5965.00 cover-ing labor, fittings, contingency and overhead. The subdividers are Philip A. Shipley, William J. Moore, Jr., and Ballard Baron, all of Las Vegas, a partnership. In the absence of Mr. Cory and in order that the work may proceed promptly upon receipt of Work Order authority, will you kindly draw a form of contract based on Rule 9-A so same can be submitted for execution after authority is received. A. M. Folger
