Ron Lurie LAS VEGAS CITY COUNCILMAN April 30, 1985 Dear Fellow Residents, Next Tuesday is Election Day in Las Vegas. I really hope you can take the time to vote for the candidates of your choice as well as help decide some of the important ballot questions that affect our whole community. During the past 12 years, I?ve done my best to find out your personal opinions and put your top priorities into action with my votes on the Council. I hope I?ve earned your support on May 7th. In response to many calls, I?m enclosing my personal resume that lots of you asked for. I know there are several thousand new voters who really feel they want as much background as possible in order to make that final decision. That?s the way it should be, and the information is enclosed. As a final note to this year?s campaign, I want to thank all the voters we?ve contacted for their thoughts and comments...as well as all the people and groups who have given me their time and support I?m very proud to have received endorsements from our Metropolitan Police Force, our Fire Fighters, Citizens for Responsible Government (CRG), City Employees Association (CEA), Pro-Family, Southern Nevada Home Builders and the Nevada Conference of Police and Sheriffs. I also want to ?publicly? thank my wife Beverly and my two children Ronda and Ben...for once again putting up with my extra hectic schedule during the campaign. Their support has been...and always will be...vital! Sincerely, Ron Lurie PLEASE VOTE NEXT TUESDAY.. .MA5T 7TH
