    Principal, any such surety "bonds and in the case of surety bonds required in court proceedings the President is author­ized to delegate like authority to such attorneys for the Com­pany as he may designate. The Chairman announced that the next order of business was the election of a member of the Executive Committee to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of A. A. Murphy as Dir­ector . Whereupon, on motion duly seconded, Wm. Reinhardt was unanimously elected member of the Executive Committee of this company to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of A. A. Murphy. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing letter-agreement, dated April 25, 1940, ad­dressed to Gaylord Container Oorporation, 1340 East 6th Street, Los Angeles, California, agreeing to reduction from the Northerly 150 feet to the Northerly 140 feet of space in this Company's Vegetable Shed No. 3, located on East Seventh Street, Los Angeles, California, covered by lease agreement, C. L. D. No. 2990, dated February 16, 1940, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and Gaylord Container Corporation, to be used for the storing and handling of fibreboard; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing letter-agreement, Audit No. 10077, dated June -3-
