F, Boggs, 200 South 9th St** Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Mrs* Boggs: Thank you for sending us your cancelled checks dated August 7th and September 19th each in the amount of #24,00 and returned herewith. While it is correct you stipulated on the face of the checks the months to which they should, in your opinion apply, our stamp on the reverse side of each check indicates the correct application according to our records* In this regard the check dated August 7th bears your notation for July and August on the face thereof, but on the reverse side you made notation" that Hay bill was paid by Hr* Boggs June 7th, This is correct and covers the reason your subsequent checks were applied to June July August and September accounts On this basis August 7th check was correctly applied to June and July and the September 19th check to August and September accounts, no payment having been made as yet on your accounts for October, fours truly, LAS VEGAS LAND AND WATER GO.
