Maag - Las Vegas) Referring to your letter of June 1st, file 36-15-Nev. and to Mr* Maag’s letter of May 28th, both in connection with a letter which has been requested by Mr. L,W* Cochran, one of the owners of a proposed Subdivision known as "Morning View Heights”, Lfis Vegasl Nevada to the effect that the Las Vegas Land and Water Cpmpany would supply him with water for use in the Subdivision} I agree with your suggestion that should Mr. Cochran fail to have the Rule abrogated, we should perhaps give him some sort of a letter, and I think something along the line you have Indicated in your letter would be as far as we could go. I suggest however that, rather than advising Mr. Maag to give him such a letter, you prepare a form letter which could be used in all these cases, and require that each of these letters be approved in duplicate by the Water District: that thereafter one copy be delivered to the Subdivider and one copy be retained for our records.
