I agree.has Vegas - February 13, 194? ' ip|:'V- f0 ‘ W 1-1-2 Mr# Frank strong* Supplementing my letter of February IS regarding complaint from City Officials concerning sanitary conditions* 111 company with the Chief of Police, we notified the boss and nestars trespassing on Ranch property, east of Worth Fifth Street, to vaoate the premises within three days, posting on the premises a notice to that effect where the shacks were said to be vacant# This has long been a sore spot In community sanitary and law enforcement because no matter how often we run them off they move back In as soon as our back is turned# 1 believe 1 could promptly correct this situation with the use of the bulldozer and at a cost of two or three hundred dollars, by knocking down the willows and mesquite which comprise tho Jungles and at the same time cover over cans, bottles and other debris that has accumulated there# If you sec no Objection# I will so arrange* We have arranged to clean the debris out of the Creek from Main street east and have arranged with the Fire Chief to cooperate in burning off the weeds and brush along the Creek rl$it-of-way* X think this is more desirable than using the dragline in that vicinity because the dragline has a tendency to widen the Greek and decrease its velocity# A* M.
