    PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, was reported on favorably by Commissioners Fountain and Whipple as amended, and read in full to the Board. Commissioner Fountain moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 756 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried-by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. ORDINANCE NO. 757 An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 24, CODE OF LAS VEGAS, Zoning NEVADA, 1949, AS AMENDED, BY DEFINING HOME OCCUPATIONS, AND PROVIDING FOR THE CONTROL OF THE SAME; PROVIDING DISTRICT REGULATIONS FOR R-A (RANCH ESTATE) ZONES; FOR R-E (RESIDENCE ESTATES) ZONES; FOR R-1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE) ZONES; FOR R-2 (TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE) ZONES; AND R-4 (APARTMENT RESIDENCE) ZONES; BY PERMITTING FAMILY DAY CARE HOMES AND DAY NURSERIES IN THE ABOVE ZONES UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS; BY AMENDING C-1 (LIMITED COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT REGULATIONS TO PERMIT COMMERCIAL NURSERIES UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS; BY AMENDING SECTION 21, AS AMENDED BY SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE 657 TO PERMIT MAUSOLEUMS UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF, having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Sharp and Whipple, as amended, was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Sharp moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 757 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. PROPOSED ORDINANCE Commissioners Bunker and Sharp, committee for recommendation on the Certificates On proposed ordinance concerning the certificates on final maps, asked for Final Maps additional time before reporting. CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE Commissioner Fountain moved the request of the City Attorney to send Asst. City Attorney Thomas O'Donnell to the Traffic Court Conference in Los Angeles on February 3rd through 7th, 1958, with expenses of $164.00 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. At the hour of 8:35 P.M. the meeting recessed, and reconvened at the hour of 8:50 P.M. with all members present as of the opening session. GENERAL FUND BALANCE City Manager Kennedy reported that the General Fund Balance after Payroll and Service and Material Warrants is $757,525.16. That the gross Payroll is $101,014.93 and that $1,446.09 has been taken from the Bond Fund. LOT CLEAN UP Mr. Kennedy advised the Board that the Radiator Shop on the comer of Hoover and 5th Street in the right-of-way has been removed and the Master Cleaners on South 5th Street have been given notice to have the rear of their lot cleaned by 5:00 P.M. today, or be cited into Court. HUNTRIDGE FIRE STATION The City Manager presented the request of the Police Athletic League for LEASE permission to lease the Huntridge Fire Station for training for the Golden Gloves Police Athletic League Tournament until February 10, 1958. Mr. Kennedy stated that the proposed lease has been signed by PAL and $1.00 deposited. Commissioner Fountain moved this lease be approved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner-Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. HUNTRIDGE FIRE STATION Discussion was held on leasing the Huntridge Fire Station to Clark County for LEASE Election purposes at $275.00 per month, for a period of not to exceed two years. Clark County Commissioner Fountain moved the following resolution setting a public hearing on the leasing of this property for February 5; 1958, be adopted: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas has received a request from the County of Clark, a public agency as defined by Chapter 98, Laws of Nevada, 1957; to lease certain real property owned by the City of Las Vegas, which is not now needed for use by the City of Las Vegas; and WHEREAS, the City of Las Vegas has determined that the said land hereinafter described can be put to a greater public use by the County of Clark, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, that is hereby declares its intention to lease the Huntridge Fire Station property to the County of Clark, said property being more particularly described as follows: Lot 2, Block 2 of Huntridge Subdivision Tract 1 as shown in Book 2 of Plats, Page 32, and Lots 1 and 2, Block 2 of Huntridge Subdivision Tract 2, as shown in Book 2 of Plats, Page 37; and as said lots are shown upon the amendment to the Plats of Huntridge Subdivision Tracts 1,2 and 3 in Book 2 of Plats, Page 63, together with that portion as described by the Order of Vacation in Document 412963 recorded September 3; 1953; in the Office of the County Recorder, Clark County, Nevada, shown in Parcel 2 of said Order of Vacation. 1-8-58
