liminary meeting this afternoon in the Mayor's office at which time the Commission stated positively something would have to he done to stop the constant complaints made to them about low pressure in the evening hours and they proposed to immediately cancel the present restriction on lawn sprinkling during certain.hours of the day* Among various other suggestions offered was one'-that a dividing line such as 7th Street be designated with people living on 'the west side of that line being permitted to sprinkle on odd number days; and people east of the line on even number days. of the Sprinkling Ordinance at this critical time and called theizj attention to the fact that while there was some inconvenience by reason of low pressures between 6 P.M. and 8 P.M., yet on the other hand there were certain advantages such as adequate fire protection and full pressures in the business district during daylight hours. taken to-morrow and will be glad to have your reaction to the establishment of a dividing line at 7th Street and removal of restrictions.
