Los Angelos, Sal* Dear Sir; Xu discussing with general Water Service Foreman Anderson, and Mr. Doll, proposed replacement of 24-Inch wood stave pipe line between settling basin and reservoir, outlined In Form 30 No-257, sent me with your letter May 13th: It is noted on map attached that the proposed replacement includes Inlet Into reservoir; this is incorreot, as it is desired that the replacement extend through the yard surrounding the reservoir, the inlet itself being already constructed of 24-inch oast iron, as shown on Chief Engineer’s Dwg. No-38577. No correction in estimate is required, as Mr. Doll advises he estimated the 954 feet on the basis of running straight through, and all that requires correction is the print. fours very truly, WALT SIR R.
