OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. September 11th, 1928. At a recessed regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, held on the 11th day of September, 1928, at the hour of three o'clock P. M. PRESENT: Hon. J. F. Hesse, Mayor, Commissioners LeRoy Neagle and O. J. Smith, together with the City Attorney and Clerk. ABSENT: Commissioners W. C. German and W. B. Mundy. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. Mr. C. C. Boyer, Division Highway Engineer of the State of Nevada, appeared before the Board and presented a resolution and requested this Board to adopt the same. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, said resolution was duly passed and adopted, said resolution reading as follows: " RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The Department of Highways, State of Nevada, proposes the reconstruction of Federal Aid Projects 87-A and 101-A, within the city limits of Las Vegas, the work to consist of resurfacing the present roadway and applying asphaltic fuel oil, mixed method, and WHEREAS, The cost of such work has been estimated by the State Highway Department to be Eight Thousand Two Hundred Ninety Six Dollars and Twenty Six Cents ($8,296.26), of which the city's share will amount to Three Thousand One Hundred Thirty Four Dollars and Eighty Seven Cents ($3,134.87). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That funds in the amount estimated herein be immediately made available to the Department of Highways, State of Nevada, for carrying on the proposed construction. " Thereupon, no further business appearing, it was ordered upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, that this meeting be in recess until Thursday, the 13th day of September, 1928, at the hour of three o'clock, P. M. No further business appearing, it was ordered upon motion duly carried, that a recess be declared until Tuesday the 11th day of September, 1928, at the hour of three o'clock, P. M.
