    OFFICE OF TEE CITY CLERK, LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. February 5th, 1931. Minutes of a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, held on the 5th day of February 1931 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. Present Mayor Hesse, Commissioners Thomas, Smith and German together with the City Attorney and Clerk. Absent Commissioner Hansell. All bills allowed as per claims and warrant register on file in the office of the Clerk. Monies received for the month of January as follows: $4150.85 Licenses, Fees. 241.00 Municipal Court Fines. 4391.85 Total. Monies proportioned as follows; $2,000.00 General Fund. 2,328.85 Police and Fire Fund. ______63.00 Water Sewer and Light Fund. 4,391. 85 The Clerk was directed to Transfer $1,156.43 from the Sewer Bond Inst. Fund to the Sewer Bond Redemption Fund, and $369.85 from the Sewer Bond Inst. Fund to the Water Sewer and Light Fund. The funds of the Sewer BOnd Inst. and the Sewer Bond Redemption Funds being closed as the final bonds had been redeemed and the interest paid on all bonds of said series. All reports approved by the Mayor and filed in the office of the Clerk. No further business appearing before the Board at this time the meeting recessed until Friday the 6th day of February 1931 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. FEBRUARY 6th, 1931. At a recessed regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Held on the 6th day of February 1931 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. Present Mayor Hesse, Commissioners Smith and Hansell together with the City Attorney and Clerk. Absent Commissioners Thomas and German. Commissioner Hansell being Present the bills of the Water Sewer and Light Department were approved and Commissioner Smith was appointed by the Mayor to approve the bills as Finance Commissioner owning to the absence of Finance Commissioner German. City Building Inspector Paul Hosman being present the Board entered into a discussion of the plans for the additions to the Library to be known as the "City Hall." No further business appearing before the Board at this time the meeting recessed until Monday the 9th day of February 1931 at the hour of three o'clock P.M.
