Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Theta Theta Omega Chapter Economics Report February 12, 2000 Soror Billie Rayford
A program target for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority is economic empowerment. Black Dollar Days is an activity observed during the month of March to track dollars that are spent with African- American merchants. Please use the flyer provided to track your March expenditures with African-American businesses...your favorite cress shop, nail technician, travel agent, insurance agent, car dealer, real estate agent, etc. In 1999, 13 sorors reported that they supported 33 businesses and spent $4,778.00. Our goal for March 2000 is to have 100% of sorors reporting their support of Black businesses.
