Los A ng olas* August 5 * 195^. Mr. W. A. Jurden; (CC- Mr . F. H. Blair Mr. R. L. Adamson Herewith Mr. R. L. Adamson's letter August 3rd* File l-733^» to me* enclosing two prints showing location of proposed 30 inch water pipe line across railroad property at Lae Vegas* this being in pursuance of agreement entered into with Las Vegas Valley Water District granting easement for this pipe line. It will be noted District Engineers have aporcached us to agree upon a plan for installation of this pipe line which will cause the least interference with our operations and at the same time minimise their cost of constructing cribbing* falsework* etc. Note Mr. Adamson suggests that possibly one or two of the most westerly tracks could be bulletined out of service for a short period* and believes it would be advisable for you or your representative confer with Asst. Stipt. Blair.in regard to this matter and determine just what tracks must be kept in continued service and also what tracks we can tie up for a short time while the carrier pipe is being installed. Will you please handle this promptly and prepare reply to Mr. Adamson's letter* returning one of his prints showing location of trackage involved* together with estimated cost of all work to be performed by company forces at expense of the District of the contractor.
