April 29, 1952 Las Vegas Land & Water Co. City Account 9007 Gentlemen: Enclosed you will find my check in the amount of 113-50 , which should pay our water Dill from December, 1951, through May, 1952, if, as your letter indicates, we owed $9*00 for water from December, 1951, through March, 1952. Adding $4.50 for the two months of April, 1952, and May, 1952, at the rate of $2.25 per month, gives me the figure of $13.50 to pay up our account and the month of May, 1952, in advance. As far as the $2,00 owing on account 9006, or 1116 Chspman Drive, I feel this is not our responsibility to pay this as at that time we did not even own the house next door. However, last year when your auditors were there at the time you were remodelling your cf fices I did go in to see how that account was and, although it was not my responsibility as I understand it, I wrote to Mr. Hoseph Klein and asked him to pay the months the auditor then told me was due according to >hat he could find in the records and it was my understanding that the account was paid in full. If there was still this $2.00 outstanding on the books and had the auditor then informed me of same I could have had it included in the check Mr. Klein did send me for transmittal to the Water Company. I do not think that I should have to do any more about the matter and suggest that you take it up yourself. Mr, rasYT Klein lives in Sacramento, California. His present address I do not know, but he runs a show stcr e there. Cordially yours Mrs. Robert Bartlett 1122 Chapman Drive City
