Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of C.R. Millhizer for license for 1 slot at Ed's Place at 4l6 W. Bonanza be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Whipple moved the application of Marguerite Robinow for a Restaurant Beverage license for Margo's, 8l4 West Bonanza, be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Whipple moved the application of Susie Forsyth for a Restaurant Beverage license for Susie's Snack Bar, 222 North Main, be held in abeyance. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of D.A. Verone for Restaurant Beverage license at Maria's Italian Kitchen be approved subject to compliance with the Building Code for in­stallation of an additional restroom. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Fountain moved the application of Edward Levinson for 2 Tavern Liquor and 2 Cabaret Liquor licenses at Fremont Hotel, 200 Fremont, be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of Cobbs-Moore-Bruner for Special Liquor Permit for May 11, 1956 for Valley View Golf Club at 1320 D Street be held in abeyance for checking. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Fred Atol and Elias Atol for a Retail Package liquor license at Charlie's Beer Bar, 1511 South Main, adding the name of Fred Atol, be approved. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. At the hour of 8.33 P.M. the meeting recessed. The meeting reconvened at the hour of 9.l5 P.M. with all members present as of the opening session. Commissioners Fountain and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed rezoning ordinance requested additional time before reporting. Commissioners Bunker and Fountain, committee for recommendation on the proposed Public Utilities ordinance requested additional time before reporting. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE WARM AIR HEATING CODE OF THE CITY OF LAD VEGAS AS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 607, BY PROVIDING FOR PERMITS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF EVAPORATIVE COOLERS,; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, was read in full to the Board.
