Cory Attorney at Law Cornet Building 4th and Fremont Streets Las Vegas* Nevada Ret Agreement proposed between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and Wittwer, et al. cct Mr. Wm. Reinhardt Mr. C. M. Bates Mr. W. H. Johnson Dear Mr. Coryt I am returning herewith duplicate originals and two extra copies of your N.L.D. 796-1, covering agreement between the water company and Reed Wittwer, et al. I had heretofore discussed this matter with Mr. Reinhardt* and he told me he thought it would be desirable to have the Wittwers not only indemnify us for any damage to the water main caused by the construction of the building* but also Indemnify us for any damage to the buildings caused by their proximity to the water mains. Upon receipt of this letter and In view of the language in the second paragraph thereof* Z again discussed the matter with Mr. Reinhardt* and he states that he feels the Wittwers should Indemnify us against any damage to the buildings caused by the use of the water mains* the bursting of the water mains* or some similar language.
