Such connection will be removed by the Railroad Com- 13 panies on or prior to the sale date. 14 On o r prior to the sale date Railroad Companies shall 15 disconnect all of their distribution lines connecting at the above 16 numbered points with the transmission and distribution lines to 17 be sold to the District except the distribution line connecting 18 at point marked 2. The District agrees that said existing line, 19 connecting at point marked 2, or in the event Railroad Companies 20 elect to disconnect said line, such other line or lines as may be 21 agreed upon by the parties hereto and of an aggregate capacity not 22 exceeding the capacity of said existing line, may remain or be 23 connected to the water transmission and distribution lines of the 24 District for the purpose of providing Railroad Companies with 25 emergency standby water service.
